May we all snoozle like #nelliegillis this weekend. 💛

After nearly five years of my wedding band not fit

After nearly five years of my wedding band not fitting (note to self: soldering can shrink the band size by a half size), I finally got it resized this week and am in LOVE with the sparkle back on my finger, especially with my band. I'm elated + feeling like a newlywed again ❤️

I couldn't be more proud of this boy and his Flyer

I couldn't be more proud of this boy and his Flyers Orange 1 and Gray teammates. After five games in two days, you'd think he'd be beat, but he's snuggled up next to me searching for hockey documentaries on Prime Video. This kiddo breathes hockey, cheers on his teammates, pounds on the glass to greet his mama and his little brother, and gives his all on the ice. And while I am floored by the player he is and will be, beyond all of the hockey, I am so unbelievably proud of the boy he is. #lionelconner

* Devoured a book in the course of four hours, spread out over two days between "Can I please have some juice please?" and "RESPECT MY HOUSE, BOYS!" and "Have you forgiven us yet, Mama?" and "NO HOCKEY IN THE HOUSE!" and ""We'll listen now, Mama."

* Did eleven billion loads of laundry + put away 10 billion. Ain't nobody got time for this ish.
✨
* Thought about my Grandma + wondered how many times she watched me sleep. I bet she lost count of how many babies she rocked and lulled to sleep in her 88 years.
✨
* Read way too much commentary + analysis on Harry and Meghan. I just. can't. stop.
✨
* Sent my oldest for a sleepover with Grandma + Grandpa and am now counting the {too freaking many} hours until I see his sweet face. I'm gonna smother him with smooches after work tomorrow.

Oh, my Mama heart. We are at a travel tournament with #lionelconner this weekend, and for answering the trivia question his coach posed correctly, he earned himself a spot as goalie in yesterday's third game.

His heart was so, so excited for the game ahead, and, all things considered, he did well in goal. He is just not scared of pretty much anything when it comes to hockey, and that's something marvel at constantly.
