Next up on the home reveal: the master bedroom!

Our master bedroom is located just down the hall from the main bathroom upstairs; L’s room is right across the hall from our bedroom, which makes his middle-of-the-night wake-ups much easier on us, thankfully.

What we LOVE about this space: the double closets (they are large!); the tray ceiling; the wood blinds in the window.

What we’d LOVE to do to this space…someday:

– install crown molding

– paint (BM’s Smoke Embers for walls; BM’s Willow Creek for tray ceiling)

– accent trayed ceiling by painting the tray one shade darker than the walls (like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/272749321155439648/)

– replace IKEA Hemnes bed with an upholstered bed (DIY? Like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/272749321155821845/)

– add accent pillows

– add end table(s) (mirror finish?) (like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/272749321155456746/)

– add long, squatty dresser (campaign style, like this? http://pinterest.com/pin/272749321155980561/)

– remove and Craigslist the ceiling fan; add a chandelier (like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/272749321155456934/)

Up next on our home reveal: L’s room! We’ll show both the bare-bones space AND the exciting “after”!
